I will say this as far as DNA and I have to move on because I think I have been as clear as I possible can on that issue. I have repeatedly said that if someone else needs the DNA test to feel like they have a more complete picture, then that is fine for them. However, I do not feel any deed for myself to have one done. I do not believe that it can do what some of the DNA research companies claim it can do as far as the specific pinpointing of...

But I'm not talking about the show(s). I'm talking about the people (individuals) who are highlighted each week on the show(s). Those (individual) people refer to themselves more often than not as "Africans" ... and NOT "Kenyans" or "South Africans" or "Ghanians" or "Mozambicans" .. although nationalistically, they were born in those individual countries.---EbonyRose I was suggesting...

As Noah said, contract ON black america was no longer needed...neither is Farrakhan. Both are obsolete as they were able to place a tanned man in the WH in order to strengthen america. In other words, no need to put more bait on a hook when the fish is already caught. Con-track on black america was/is but a corporate/imperialistic sponsored platform to basically expand their consumer base and more significantly, to give the appearance of these...

First, there were no Black Africans in the business end of the slave trade when it began which was actually in the 14th Century and second, when Black Africans got involved it did not happen in a vacuum, these Africans participated under duress or I should more accurately say that they participated under the threat of becoming a slave themselves.---neocarl I guess it depends on what is ...

I think that the election of Obama pretty much killed it. Who needs a contract when you got Obama? What we really need as a people is a president in the white house who looks like us and keeps us from speaking truth to power, as not to put the one who looks like us in a situation that could threaten his viability with white voters.

That's a bizarrre reversal; I also disagree with it. If 1 mammogram out of 5000 catches an early stage BC in a 40 yr old woman, then requiring the mammograms would still be worth pursuing.

I finally did it. I got my hands on some netbooks. I went to a technology seminar for vendors yesterday and got to test 3 netbooks. The benchmark I used was from the January 1983 BYTE magazine but I added a few enhancements to it so it now calculates and displays its performance and lists a few of the results from 1983. I heard at least four people at the seminar disparaging netbooks as being...

Pelosi: House Dems consider insurance tax to fund health care By Deirdre Walsh CNN WASHINGTON (CNN) -- House Democratic leaders are discussing adding a tax on insurers as a way to reduce the overall price tag of their health care bill. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Friday that an excise tax on high-end insurance plans, similar to the one included in the Senate Finance Committee's health ...
