Great stuff & thanks for sharing it! Someone inspired me to do a little pbp change in the basketball game & it may still be posted on here somewhere. I didn't get too far though, but you may have inspired me to do so more as I'm back in Basketball mode again. I tried to be "in-depth" in changing #1 on down, but I like your idea of doing a few higher percentages, repeats, or major changes, for each #....

I was born in Pontiac and went to high school in Oxford, but now live in Albuquerque since 1984. I get back to visit family usually twice a year and catch a game or two depending on the seaon....and I didn't read the article....I will look it up? Sorry for my typos...I am too lazy to proof i guess.

The game seems to favor hitters over pitchers when it comes to game MVP's. Twice I had a SP pitch a complete game shutout, but the game chose the player who hit a home run for MVP?

I actually have no problem this year. Alabama and Texas are truly the 2
best teams in the country. Cincy, TCU, and BSU (Blue Sod University) are
all unbeaten, but the SE conf and the Big 12 are much tougher conferences
to go unbeaten in. So clearly the winner of the Alabama-Texas game will be
number one. The only controversy is who will be number 2???

Your season disks should be compatible. If they aren't for any reason all you need to do is e-mail or call Dave and he will send you a link to download
replacements. He keeps a master list of all the disks each customer owns, so you never have to worry.
As far as OOTP, I heard it's a good GM'ing tool, but lacks big time for game play.

In your recap of the 61 season you forgot to mention that Hornung was also a kicker......maybe that added to his value....the fact he could run, catch, pass,
and kick. Maybe that was the value and not the individual category yardage. In fact in 1961 he hit 68.2 % of his FGs which was an outstanding % for that
era.....only Lou groza was better that year at 69%...not many in that era ...

I agree. Great read. I lived and died with Lombardi's Packers as a kid in the 60s (I read Jerry Kramer's Instant Replay over and over, to the point of
wearing it out). Marannis' book brought back some great memories.

I'm hopeful it will be here in time for the stanley cup playoffs, then I"ll pick one of my favorite playoff years from growing up, and use that to
learn the nuances of the new game. I'm guessing it will still be quite a while as there's been no word on testing, but getting it right is very
important!!
