If you replace those two seals that will fix the leak. the part numbers are: 3005-909 mechanical seal $23.29 3003-356 pump drive seasl $4.40 3402-108 right side gasket $25.79 good luck and let me know how it turns out

Possible fuel issue or ?

Thanks for the last reply was gone deer hunting and wanted to post the end results. a pinched fuel bowl vent was the cuprate dont know why I didnt think of it but pulled it off the carb and tryed to blow air threw it with neg results traced it to where it had a kink. once cleared she runs good. anyone know where I can get a decently priced manuel for this quad Thanks

Any quality name brand oil of the proper weight can be used, as long as it doesn't say "Energy Conserving" on the container. Those oils has additives that works against wet clutches.

You need to replace the seal behind the waterpump. Now for the bad news you have to remove the right side engine cover to get to that seal,so when you order the seal get a gasket for the cover also

also having problems with an 06 Artic cat 500 tbx automatic. Having trouble with getting it to start. Have replace plug. new fuel pump and battery. Some times it starts just fine and then if sets for more than 2 or 3 days it will not start. Has electric choke and primer push button. Runs battery down and have to recharge. Any ideas what problem would be appreciated.
