The Chat Room
Published (2009-11-29 18:34:05)
For anyone who's interested or soooo starved of virtual company, for what it's worth, I will be in the Room tonight from eight until around half past when the decent radio programmes finish and I shut up shop to go indoors. Scintillating conversation cannot be guaranteed but questions of an overtly technical nature can be entertained and every attempt made to get the answers right.

AOL, Version en-GB-aolbb-2.1.19.1.
Published (2009-11-29 07:19:39)
I took it as fact that what I have received is an Anglicised version of the original US market AOL 10.1. The spellchecker, however, thinks otherwise as it is still very firmly based on the US dictionary, e.g humor, labor etc. Two great nations divided by the same language... and they cant even splel 'color' right?.... I am using the Firefox, and the BRIT-English dictionary add on is better... it dont like american-isims... However,...

Thanks for the G&T Roger. Well it was you, Hal and me but....... at no time did the numbers register saying how many were in the Chat Room. Wonder if the Admins can sort it out. We all three checked at different times.

Quite agree, Grumps. I had to tip a four year old tumble drier at the weekend for lack of the availability of a

looked very old
