Tylenol works for arthritis pain (sometimes) but it doesn't have the anti-inflammatory effect that ibuprofen has, which is why ibuprofen is great for joints if you can take it. And it's why Aleve is even better (IMO) than ibuprofen for joint pain. Essentially it's an OTC version of Naprosyn. Linda ~Lv2Cook~ You don't have to cook fancy or complicated masterpieces - just good food from fresh...

Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory, that is why it helps with joint pain. Tylenol isn't and can give some relief for joints, but you will get much better relief from any of the anti-inflammatories. My mother worked for Johnson and Johnson for years, so I away's got that drilled in my head......body pain = ibuprofen.....headache = a cetaminophen . If you can take them. Wow, what did the kids eat? They brought from home? Was this a public school? We could never do that because of the free/reduced lunch kids. School gets out at 11:15 on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Most of the kids who qualify for free/reduced go to an afterschool program that feeds them B/L/D anyway. Our numbers of free/reduced lunch were really high so I'm sure...

My niece Justine and her husband John, she who works for Amazon, are currently on vacation in Japan and are keeping a blog for their trip. It's full of food talk, including a trip to a grocery store. I thought some here might find it interesting, so here's the link: Brooklyn and Beyond The blog's first entry, at the bottom of the page, is from 2007's trip to Vietnam. However, if you move up...

Lori, raising my hand, I am right there with you on the papertowel thing........I cannot function in my kitchen without them. I would guess I use a roll a week...... Lori and Jennifer, young J is in your group. I was overwhelmed that in the short first week he was here we went through a roll of paper towels. Generally it takes us several months. We are now in training to use cloth towels....

Don't most people troll people they don't like? No. MOST people don't troll at all. And what really irritates you about what I did is that I turned your own words back at you. It's tough being hung by your own pitard. What you mean, is PHL was the only name you got caught using. What I meant was what I SAID. Don't judge everyone else by yourself.

wondering where all the Followers board posts are. hummmm. Hi ya, Jep. I think most people are rather busy on Sunday and just don't take time to post. At least, that is the case with me; it is only after hubby and bulldog go to sleep that I can enjoy sitting at the computer. Hope you had a good Sunday! Selaine

I'm sooooo happy with the winner too! I think it's great that you didn't give away the winner, but as far as I'm concerned, those that don't want to know the winner should stay off the message boards until they see the show! But that's just me.

I shed a tear. I first started watching Oprah when my first son was newborn. He'll be 24 in January. I even remember the first commercial advertising her show. It was a play on words with Opera and Oprah. I thought, "Who the heck is that?" brenda I watched her very first show!! I was still in school though. LOL Admittedly I don't watch every show, but the ones that peak my ...

Why don't you go to a board that's filled with little 12 year olds ok? That way you can fit right in because then you're on the same IQ level. You're not giving 12 year olds much credit are you? Sherry Won't you take me to HOCKEY TOWN!

I've just added Summer by the Sea to my list -- I love novels with recipes in them . Joyce - My youngest dd made the identical comment today! The most recent book she'd read (whose name escapes me - something like " By the Numbers") had a number of recipes in it and she'd picked out several she wanted to try because she liked the ingredient lists and descriptions. She made copies on ...

Well TD...you're all bravado and all that...but is it true that you've called Teri's dad/family and said disgusting things? If so, how can you possibly justify a thing like that? I don't care if you're Null, Knowle or the man in the moon...I just know whats wrong is wrong...and if it was you, I hope they have indeed found you and reported you.

We are doing Thanksgiving twice this year. On the official day we will be having friends over. I'm doing turkey, stuffing, and cranberries and I don't know what else. Dessert is taken care of, one couple is bringing two kinds of pie, pecan and probably apple. I need to talk to the other two friends about sides and appetizers. Then we'll leave on the Saturday after Thanksgiving for Newport ...

I'm in the ABM club (anyone but mehta). IMO, Chef Mullen's illness was the real reason he was chopped, the rice was just an excuse. The over the top flowers should have sent Mehta home, as well as "integrity" alone! If, by any chance Mehta wins, ICA has decreased my percentage of watching. I won't watch him and I don't like the giggle monkey (Symon).

I almost always have a bowl of Cheerios. I don't drink coffee so I never have it. I've had Coke at 10AM when I know I won't be having a break at work (when I work only 4 hours). And if I don't have Cheerios, I'll have anotrher kind of cereal or oatmeal. Jonathan informed me a few minutes ago that he'll be having some of the apple crispy thing I made last night for breakfast....
