LOL! I hate to admit it, but I've been shaving my upper-lip since I was 16. It didn't grow back thicker or darker, and I didn't get that male "5 O'Clock Shadow", so I just kept doing it. It's still peach-fuzzy. (And I'm a hairy Italian!) My mom is the one who suggested it, since she's been doing the same since she was a young girl. However, mom does have those nasty whiskers coming out of her chin...

Do you have a wig store near by? I'd go to a wig store. Be up front with the sales person, tell them your thinking about changing your hair color and would like to see a wig in the color your interested in. Hold it up to your face or try it on which ever your comfortable doing and see if you like it; take a picture so you can review it again. A change in apperance can take a few days to get used to. I would probably put a plus size model on the cover. Big girls are pretty too, and some do an incredible job with their make up skills. I wouldn't put tips in there that state, "Make your face appear slimmer....hide a double chin," etc. Instead, I would put tips and ideas for accentuating your positive features. Did you ever think that what you DO with the product is almost as important as which product you choose?! It can make a huge difference! I recently read on my favorite beauty blog that you should store your eye cream in the fridge for optimal results. They've got tons more tips, too.. check it out!

The amount of time really depends on the percentage of glycolic acid and the formulation: Some glyc peels have a built in "neutralizer" that stops the peel from, well, peeling for lack of a better word. Can't you email the Avon rep you bought it from?...

I dont know of any at drugstores, but you can get a small bottle of Oscar Blandi for $11 at Sephora. It's not the spray type, so it works best if you sprinkle it on a hair brush and comb it through, but it might give you a good idea of whether or not they are for you....
