I challenge anyone who trys to say the God of the OT is evil to read this article explaining why this is not so... it is very good.... Faith Is God evil? - Conclusion A misunderstanding of God's Word, His character, and His creation all result in the argumentation errors found on evilbible.com. A fitting summation of their stance is this statement made on their web site: "I don't think I could ever complete a whole list as...

You asked where God's mercy is. Then, when I demonstrated a law where, by example, God expects parents to show some mercy and truly chastise their son, you said it was useless. "Wasting His time". But aren't you wasting your time, reading somebody else's mail, finding things wrong it, and then spamming your complaints across the Internet?

This article basically sets you apart as a fundamentalist. Unable to find either common ground or a means of coexistence, you'd choose to destroy thoughts
different from your own and force acceptance of your ideas.
Not really mush differewnt from the Anita Bryants and Fred Phelps' of the world. Sad, really. Rebop, I cannot ( and don't) believe you actually share
the views of this article.

Gosh, that is so tempting.
One would like to think that ' Anything ' should include the now infamous

In religion, this makes things a lot harder. Religion asks you to have FAITH, not to question.
NO NO NO NO NO!!!!! NONSENSE!!! RUBBISH! ABSOLUTE LIE!! Real Faith DEMANDS that you question, that you ALWAYS question! NEVER accept something just because
someone says so! What's this guy talking about? Faith isn't blind obedience, it's the daily search for truth! This statement could not ...

When you say that God exists, are you telling a truth that you would swear on a Bible to?
Again, you're really into black and white in a world of greys. Fundamentalism, it seems, doesn't limit itself to religions or the far-right.
When I say I believe in God, I am stating what I believe. I believe it's the truth, and that I'll swear to. I'm willing to acknowledge other
possibilities, and ...

I think the author's article makes some good points, but the overall premise seems to be that this is a religious nation which is now seeing a rise in
secularism. Nothing could POSSIBLY be further from the truth. This is, in fact, and always has been a secular country, a part of the fabric of which are people
of faith. While it's impossible not to acknowledge that the majority of the people are ...

He even shows how Muhammad "corrected" Christian teaching about Jesus in the Qur'an. Among other things, the Muslim scripture declares that
Jesus was not the Son of God nor was he crucified.
You know, Faith, all these same accusations have, at times, been made about our own faith, even this very one... that the New Testament "corrects"
the Jewish teachings from which it sprang.
There's ...
