I find that Guardian Defender squads work much better in pairs, so I don't suggest exchanging either squad for a unit of Storm Guardians. Storm Guardians with Fusion Guns are far too inaccurate in my experience, so I don't advise giving them this option. Two Flamers and a Warlock with Destructor are far more dangerous, and will burn through an awful lot of opposing units without two many problems. Your...

looking at the pictures of devil fish on the battlefield next to tau models in their codex, i'd say its near impossible to see from behind a devilfish at all. (Page 55 & 62 specifically)

They look very nice. Regarding the Fire Warrior shoulder pads used on the feet: I think you should simply turn them around and cover the front toe of the foot with them. You might find some smaller ones to cover the other toes with. They would then appear much more similar to the toes of the GW 'Suit. NewHeretic

My math is 96 points over, unless I'm missing something. For more anti-horde you could drop a FD/WS grouping and add a couple warwalkers with 3x shuricannons and 1x scatter laser and flank with them or start them on the field and guide them first turn. *edit* And I concur, Eldar have the worst troops choices right now.

I currently have 2 40K forces. Tyranids and Grey Knights. But no matter how much I do to them I keep looking at Necrons. The models just drag me in. How do they play at the moment? Are they a good choice?

Pros: More total vehicles because you're sharing Force Slots. Pros: Hits hit at the same time increasing the total theoretical number of wounds inflicted. Cons: Immobilization Equals Death. Cons: Can't Split Fire. Cons: Can't Split Up Tanks Movement Cons: Line of Sight Issues. That's how I see it anyway.

I'd drop a single scorpion and get a Scorpions Claw on the exarch. Awesome look+really effective=great weapon. I'd be tempted to drop a fire dragon and swap the wraithlord's scatter laser for a bright lance.
