I would watch out putting anything in there if you don't have any or a very small amount of live rock. You don't want to run into ammonia and nitrite problems down the road. You could put a cleaner shrimp, 1 or 2 small clowns, 1 golden canary wrasse, 1 royal gamma or 1 jawfish.

For 5 or 6 years my wife has wanted me to remodel our garage into living space. I wasn’t at all interested in making the investment until 2 years ago she tried a new tack and said “You know, if we remodeled the garage, you could put a wine cellar out there”(the bait was dangled) . This got me a little bit interested in the project but not enough to get started. After another 12 months of ...

The Ultimate Showdown - PC vs. Mac This topic has cropped up and hijacked several threads, so I thought I'd have a Bucket topic going to clear out the (un)wanted spamming.
Which do you prefer? PC or Macs. If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm confused as to how you got on the internet to begin with.
I'll hold my opinions until later. But I will say, every ...

Water changes, how often should I really be doing them My tank is now almost 4 months old and as soon as the long cycle was done I have been doing a 5 gallon water changes once a week. I've been reading that most people don't do water changes. But is that for the older more established tanks rather than a young one?
Should I keep doing what in doing or change? ...
