Hi Jan, I'm so glad that it's working well for for you - you're off to a really good start! And what a difference to have food that's good - to look forward to each meal and actually enjoy them - and then not to have to fix it ouselves - I think DTG really makes it so easy to get on board and stick to the plan. Congrats on your success so far - way to go! Keep us posted, Lee

Windchime, I suppose I was thinking more of the sort who get caught up in peer pressure, and eventually grow up and are horrified by their actions. I think true bullies are a different sort, and there's plenty of those around too. I agree, they aren't likely to change. Maybe it's a matter of leaders and followers.

Exactly bcort. I am not bothered by people who are asking for the right reasons. I do answer vaguely to strangers, but if they then continue the discussion in a manner which is seeking advice on how to do it themselves or maybe how to help a friend or something then I have no problem whatsoever explaining to them how I have lost my "a lot" or how I plan on losing "bunches" more. I don't wish to discuss...

lindy - we've been together for almost 7 years and he's been struggling with depression since he was in high school. He takes anti-depressants sometimes but isn't right now for reasons that aren't entirely clear - hence the funk. When he's in a good place, he's the absolutely perfect guy for me and we have the best time. During his moody periods (one of which was my trigger to get going on this whole weight loss...

A full keyboard is important to me, too. I admit I am still struggling with the one on the iPhone... I love eBooks on the iPhone though.

Diet Coaches/Buddies - Bit the bullet and bought small boxes of raisins for the Trick or Treat'ers (not the micro boxes, but the 1 1/4 oz. ones). I can use the leftovers in my morning granola as part of my normal eating plan and they're not a temptation for me since I have a pantry full of raisins already. Two kids out of 29 did turn them down. I'm OK with that; it's facing ...

Oh, I have lost many times without 3FC, but I was never able to maintain that loss. Here I have learned the tools to keep it off and the thing is the concept is so simple. I am not saying to maintain your loss is simple but the concept to maintain is ridiculously simple. When I came here wondering how to do it I learned you keep it off the same way you took it off . What an ...

Hi Red Team,
I am starting this thread so we can be each other's exercise/food accountablity buddies. I am also hoping it's a place where we CHEER each other on to VICTORY.
The idea is we post what we are eating (only if you want) and the exercise we are doing. Again you don't have to post what you eat, I just do it because I need to make myself accountable, as I have huge fat & sweet...

Congratulations on the baby, and welcome back.
Have you considered getting a jog stroller? Your baby would probably really enjoy the time outside and it would give you time to get some cardio in. Something I did when my son was that age, I'd put in one of his cd's and we would dance around and do silly song and dances. He really enjoyed it, and trust me, it worked up a sweat...

Recovering from yesterday. Way to much to drink but my boxer costume turned out super cute. See the how was Halloween thread for a recount of my night. I didn't go to the gym today (no surprise given my hangover) but will go tomorrow morning. The high tomorrow is 85 so gym then tanning.
Ghost - Great job running a marathon.

Hi I am Jeni, I have two kids and a husband. I have been losing weight very slowly for the last3 years. I am a calorie counter and a runner, in July I finally started strength training and I am loving it.
W: I average 80 oz of water a day. I think water is especially important for me because it helps keep my hydrated and full.
