well, i just replaced the fork seals on my CR. and now, 3 weeks later, one side is already blown out and leaking like a garden hose. the fork is not rough/rusty/pitted, and it doesnt seem to be loose/wobbly that would make the seal out-of-round and lt oil leak by it, as it held fine for a few weeks. so, what should i look for? would leaving the bike in my truck blow a seal?...

I think it is time to start shopping for a new MIG welder. First off I should say that although I know about welding and “how” to weld, I haven’t actually welded before. I do have a friend that has welded and will teach me, although he currently doesn’t have a welder. So far this is what I am thinking….. I would really want to stay with a 110 volt welder, from what I hear I won’t need ...

Is there alot of smoke? if tranny oil was leaking you'd have tons of it. I get some oil by the exhaust flange too but its just from running it richer in oil. Mine hardly smokes at all.

Probably been hashed over a thousand times, but I am not finding much in my searches. I am figuring that I could very easily raise the rear suspension on my Big Red by 1 to 1-1/2 or more. I am always getting hung up and stuck because I bottom out. What are the cons to doing this? Driveshaft angle? Stability (considering a higher center of gravity and less rake on the front forks)?...

a few years back on one of the sled forums I read up at there was a big post about oils and if I remember correctly some of the guy's swore by it. I would use it if you can get it. I think it smells good too. lol

I can get a 12"x7" rim, 4/110 bolt pattern, 5"/2" offset. I want to install this on the front of my 1985 Big Red ATC250ES so I have a better choice of tires. Also, what would be a suggested tire size? I am thinking either a 26x10-12 or maybe a 27x10-12

I've been helping this poor kid i met by repairing and doing a top end rebuild on his 125m. here are some pics of the progress. these are what i had to work with. Just so you know, he lost his parents in a tragic accident, and lives with his granddad. He doesn't have any $, but this trike keeps him outta trouble. Poor little guy. His neighbor is forking over most of the $ for the parts...

Does anyone have any photos of 2nd gen t3's with JP Racing mods? I know they put out a variety of different parts back in the day (none of which there was much of) and I'm not looking for everything they made, but what about the motor? I've heard they used a cool blue PC and I'm trying to get a visual on the color to determine if I want to go that direction on my project or not. Can't find ...

but if I could modify one particular machine I own, the Polaris trike, to HAVE rear brakes in neutral AND move the shifting device from low right side to a position I don't need to remove my hands from the bars, I would not even ride (or probably own) my 250 Bigred. I reckon my build would be more of a modified Polaris trike. john

The Mrs. and I are going to be heading down to ride the Badlands o.r.v. park in Attica, Indiana. Would be nice to hook up with any board members that can make it. The Mrs. and I will be staying the night with my brother who lives about 35 miles to the south of Attica after the riding is done so it don't matter wich day we get down there. What ever day is best for the majority will ...
