I assume you ordered your phone from the 3 web site. If you receive two phones and don't want one or both of them. Don't open the box/s, ring 3 c/s and ask for it to be returned under the 14 day grace period. Just as an update, when I called O2 today, the W995 is still out of stock and now expected some time next week. Because I've been waiting for a replacement for so long, they've agreed that they will now deliver me a brand new W995 on Mon. Fingers crossed!

only trouble is though that remember the root name servers are mostly American controlled so he could shut them down. As for go get him Gordon I think GB is a bit of a Poodle like Phoney Blair so unlikely to do much.

i have changed the product code on my three e71 and now have the latest 2. whatever firmware.
planet 3 etc disappears and you can't directly download skype, push email etc. this isnt a problem as you can get them elsewhere.
i can't think of a reason not to upgrade the firmware apart from invalidating the warranty - though i'd rather not have one if it meant claiming through three.

Did you get Skype and Messenger working ?
I managed to get it working on my N85 running version 20.173 firmware but after a firmware update to version 30.xxx messenger stopped working and I am now searching for a fix.
I have the Skype software and could set up a link if you still need it.

Same for me. In the area I work in we are the top performing store for T-Mobile and have been for over 1 1/2 years now but the Orange store down the road just had a nice new refit.

As soon as they discover your using a 3g simcard in a 2g handset.You will get message telling you to move to a 3g area otherwise the sim will be switched off.
Although I have a friend who can only get 2g and is using a 3g handset with a 3 sim.

Does anyone know if the Nokia N900 is likely to be released on Three?
I'm due for an upgrade in October and was planning on going for an N97 but seeing the details of this I'd much rather have the N900.
The specs and the OS seem the be superb

The best way is to try and get hold of a PAYG 3G sim and see what it picks
up. Failing that if you order the phone over the net or over the phone you
have a 7 day return policy. This does not count if you buy from a high
street store. I would advise buying over the phone as the sales people can
offer discounts/extras.

Hi Wheatley74, i also ordered from the 3 online store at 1030am today. I still hav'nt received an confirmation email. I rang customer services at 1230pm to check and they said that it will be delivered tommorrow. The woman on the phone was a bit vague so i dont know if she was just telling me that cause she didnt know.

Will it be 3G or 3Gs?
How will it cope with 3's weird and wonderful way with internet phones seeing the OS is sacrosanct?
Sounds like they are doing a T-Mobile and buying some in. That proved a failure for them - can't see 3 doing any better.
