iPhone - switching between 3g...
Published (2009-11-24 22:18:00)
Hi Chris, Unfortunately this is an unavoidable consequence of the fact that 3 don't actually run a 2G network. With all the other operators they run a hybrid 2G/3G network and the phone can seamlessly switch between the two during a call or during a data session without interruption. So as you move out of 3G coverage you'll switch to 2G seamlessly and as you move back into 3G the phone will switch fairly rapidly back to 3G.(Within...

Orange Pay as You Go
Published (2009-11-23 01:48:00)
Hi Rexton270. I thought you might be interested to know that I had occasion to visit Bristol (what is now, yesterday, 22nd) and took my Nokia 2630 with me. I did not test the signal strength as I passed the main premises of Orange at Patchway, Bristol and continued to the BS1 area of Bristol. Whilst sitting about 25 feet above water level in a retaurant in the comparatively new marina devlopment. The Nokia was showing a full strength signal....

How about 25 years in prison and a fine of £1.5 million which can be
collected by sending in the bailiffs to seize their property and force the
sale of their homes, that should put them off.

some of the handset you can always contact ofcom or otelo to take it
further.

However, when i call her at her home address 15 miles away which is located in a full 3G area, call data is restricted to being received by me and not sent. Basically, i can hear the other person but they ...

Discount for loyalty? Fat chance.
