if they show signs of wear on the contact points. I would replace them. It is very obvious to see if they are worn. I would replace the following if it is the first time the trans has been out in a long time. 1. Both axle seals 2. Throwout bearing 3. Slave cylinder (optional, but good idea) 4. inspect output shaft 5. rear main crankshaft seal.

Re: How To Tell 2 or 4 Bolt (Without removing oil pan)? 4 bolt pan is wider to clear the wider girdle. 4 bolt oil pumps have a wider mouth at the oil pan for the 4 bolt pump. Does your oil pump have, or have a location for, a crank angle sensor? If it does, it's a 4 bolt pump. And as stated, you can have a CAS and still have a 4 bolt. Our 3000's, TT or not are dated cars. Cool yes and fun to drive. But they are dated and can not compare to cars of today. Don't get me wrong. We love our NA and is fun to drive. There are tt's that are amazingly fast. All cars can be made to run a little quiker and even handle a little better. But the 3000s were never the be all, to be all cars. As noted on TOP Gear when they had a VR4 and took it on the track, there coment was,...

I met someone at a car show with a corvette with pop up lights who did a
similar thing with his headlights before the Z06 came out and they look
exactly like the Z06 lights and theyre just sweet so I think that doing
this with ur 3/s would look sick! Good luck! and post lots of pics.

Well, it definitely sounds like a grounding issue.
- Is the new battery ground solid? Do like you did on the firewall and scrape off the paint, then make sure that the ground lead is solid in it's terminals and bolted well at both ends.
- Test the gauge ground by getting a battery jumper cable, and putting one end on the battery the other on the gauge grounds (remove them from the car ...

How long are you supposed to keep Rislone in? I suggest you be very
carefull with your RPM's either way. That stuff alters its viscosity, so

sounds like you could have a clogged oil return line possibly. or the turbo oil seals that u have rebuilt them with are cheap knock off seals. i have the same oil pressure with no problems. altho im tdo5 that shouldnt make any difference. how much boost are you running? and by ur turbo self destructing what exactly do u mean? persicely what happend to the turbo? also by pukeing oil do u mean its...
