I have a lot of both army and marine guys tell me how good Generation Kill is. It may not be spot on but its pretty close. Marines are everyday people just like you and I and you have some who are tools and then you have some that are goof-offs. A lot of leaders come from the Marines and this series shows a lot of that and especially the conflict between lts and captains. I really enjoyed it.

I had the 238 Semi V series. Lots of room and versatile but definately the wettest boat ever made. I am not talking about a little spray but gushes of water that made it a bad experience. I sold it and will never own one again. There is a site CarolinaSkiffowners.com check it out.

When I got my job, they were looking for a minimum of a bachelor's degree. Maybe that was just a way to weed out the suckers, but since i had experience, I applied anyway. Got the job, been there 8 years and have had two promotions.
