Everybody who spends time around Jimmie Johnson likes him. He's friendly and doesn't make a big deal of who he is or what he has accomplished. Jimmie grew up in a trailer park, an endearing little piece of history that goes against his courteous corporate image. But when I see him, and listen to him, I don't get a whiff of a trailer. Yet when I talk to another Johnson, Junior Johnson, I always look behind him to see how close...

Fairly easy. You need to pull the steering wheel. As long as you've got a good steering wheel puller, the rest is quite easy.

DR DOOR Handle

Take the three screws out that hold the latch mechanism and let it drop, makes it much easier to attach the rear door handle nut.

After 22 posts, I'm still looking for this thread to move on about ZR-1's . Since that hasn't happened, I'm moving it to the Off Topic Forum. That's where we discuss topics of community interest, thus saving the tech forums for tech stuff. And so, gentlemen... away we go! Jane Ann

[QUOTE=screamin_conure;1000389]Hi all,
First post here at CAC. New owner of a '92 Artic White LT1 coupe. While doing some underhood maintenance a few weeks ago, I found this bracket just laying on top of the engine at the back of the intake. My mechanic had replaced the intake gaskets before I brought the car home, so I'm guessing this is something he might have forgotten to put back on.

If you bought Goodyears which say "carbon fiber" on the sidewalls rather than "EMT", someone sold you a non- run flat tire.
Also "EMT" stands for "Extended Mobility Tire" not "extended mileage tire".

I have the bronze tint and love it. I also have the standard painted top. I have only seen and sat in a car with the blue tint, never owned a blue tint top. But i do like the bronze top and my car is black / saddle so the blue would look funny on my car. I would think that the blue tint would let more light / heat in? I could be way off but the bronze tint to me, would let less light in and ...

It depends Remo, I like Boston for a fired up drive. Then there is James Taylor for a little "slow drivin'" I like most 60 and 70's rock and roll .

Wow,I was considering an Astro top for my 88, in your pics, the top looks shoddy at best. I've haven't heard of Melrose, but we'll give them a look. Thanks

I would change it at least once a year. Changing your oil is one of the most important things to do to keep a long lasting/running engine! Plus, its easy to do and cannot hurt only help!

My wife and I buy beans from "Java Dave's" here in OKC and grind our own each day. Our daily grind is "Ashley's Secret" - weekend grind varies from whatever my wife buys that month. "Ashley's Secret" is a medium dark roast that is a blend of a couple of other variations "Jave Dave's" offers.
We use a burr grinder also.
