The F looks fine. I do think it looks better with the bags too. I'm not a huge fane of the material really, but they look decent, Hard bags in that shape would make it better. It looks much better with the license tag mounted under the rear fender though IMO.

Forget the PC and the Harley tuner, go for the MasterTune. It will auto tune with the new bikes and anyone who knows the H-D Race Tuner can use it. Oh, and it lets you save you stock map AND any tuned maps you may load. No other device can READ the ECM and save the file.

No telling what is broke until it comes apart. The BAD NEWS is any chips or pieces that broke off the trans parts had a chance to circulate through your entire engine while you rode it home.
Yes the engine needs to come apart.
Yes any year trans will fit.
No, do not "trim" your forks. You NEED to install the updated forks and shift actuator.
You can do it without a stand.

hold the red +wire from the compressor directly onto the positive battery,
the black (-) ones should all connect together to negative. This test rules
out a defect relay or wire.

Yes very possible. You can screw two bolts back into small cover and use
pliers or vice grips to pull it off/on with. There is a how to i think or
least a thread on it. Search if you can't find it let us know.

Hey Kidd Rock you been served...... I was thinking west lafayette or muncie
Indiana would be about 1/2 way. Do you want me to call them and see if they
have a dyno? And of course this weekend is Thanksgiving and I have plans
the weekend of December 5th but after that Im pretty well freed up.

I subscribe to the theory that louder than stock pipes + defensive driving
saves lives. Moreso the latter. There have been times were I was riding on
the freeway with stock exhaust right next to some cager and she didn't even
know I was there as she tried to overtake my lane. I'm against obnoxiously
loud pipes but a nice rumble does the trick.

It's like anything else - if you have a really good reason, fine. But in principle it is bad, because the bikes are being used as ornaments and not ridden.
Just personally, I'm as happy to spend two hours on a motorway on a bike as in a car, but, whatever makes everyone happy.
