Quote from: Richard F on Today at 07:57:29 AM it very much depends how the blocking system works. if it does it by domain name, fine, but if it doesit by IP, that makes no difference Mine works by domain. Because many sites can be hosted on the same server, why would they block by ip? This would block like tonnes of sites on a shared hosting server...

Another way is to install two (or more) seperate site builder copies - one in the root folder, every other in some subfolder. - access file manager in 110mb Control Panel; - create some temporary folder, move all your files (temporarily) into this folder; - install site builder with simply clicking "step 1" link in site builder section of 110mb CP; - for future convenience of accessing site builder admin panel change the...

Personally, imo I think "Why waste my precious time logging into a site and answering a question, spamming friends with emails etc". I would rather just sacrifice the monies to buy one from somewhere like Pissy Werld (UK PC Store) where I have a reliable warranty scheme

Yes, seems to be fine now. Server was caching information before and thus thought it couldn't access Box 17 when really it could. Many thanks for your help. Marking as resolved.

tbh, this is pointless. schools will what this blocked in days. what you should do it call it something unrelated with a secret was to use it. so system admins think its just a normal website and no reason to block it.

uh so let me get this straight you do misc minor things for the site and the manager wishes to pay you? thats called uh payment for services rendered/recompense and if you dont except it, it could cause them trouble but i doubt it when it comes to a audit... but since their trying to pay you for services why not just except it? it is not like your asking for it... plus they could also be ...

Custom. I will never buy brand PC's. Buy a brand PC and you can get a twice as good PC for the same money custom built; all you pay for is non-existant warranty (most of the time you need to fix it yourself anyway) and poopty crapware that stuffs your HDD you delete upon the first boot anyway. Also, brand PC's often come with windows. This is extra expensive if it is not the OS you want.

Quote from: inp o҉rtb on Today at 04:55:08 AM It just sounds like you're swapping quite a bit. When load's low, you're running off RAM which is awesome. As the requests pile up and Apache makes more threads and processes, performance tanks. Remember that you're running on limited resources, so I'd recommend the following: 1. ditch Ubuntu Hardy and get Debian Squeeze (or sacrifice new ...

Quote from: EpicCyndaquil on Yesterday at 05:06:28 AM You know, this could kill advertising. How you ask? Google could just place an ad within the browser (which is all Chrome is), and read the page you're on and show you ads based on what it is. This would severely hurt ad publishers. Duh. But Google has to pay for the advantage in cold hard netbook. Can you imagine other ad publishers ...
