might be time for you to read this thread trev thats about to 4th alternative i have offered , which is 3 more than you and the simplistic close the pits options, which ruins the race. the near miss you claim, happened while the cars were going slow in a 40 zone, we put a tyre there to save injuries and guess what it worked, nothing to do with cars at speed, risk managed, cant see an issue there. the risk managment worked as planned, still not...

I suspect there'll be more continental opportunities next year and recession or not if there's nowhere else than that's where folks will go.
As to the Int'l circuit at Silverstone? I think its a shame because it's one of the top layouts in the UK.
Donington will hopefully be restored because I doubt that many will want to buy a house in the flight path of an airport. An industrial complex...

For those of you that were at the track day at lydden on sat you would have witnessed big Dave using all of the track to keep his mini under control.
We did think it very amuseing when one the marshalls came and congratulted him on a very brilliant and entertaining driving display. Showing great car control and skill.
But we all no better.

Hi John,
Since you're 'in the loop', do you know anything about a possible rumoured Alfa-only race in the 2010 Classic?

Most of the class e minis are quicker than the escorts anyway. The article doesn't make it clear whether Bill's going to be in class C or D now though,I know that under the rules for 2010 it's D but the writer says C

Lets hope that Henri Pescarolo has something to do with this . After all that man has done for motorsport , it would be a huge shame to see him sidelined .
I think Pug know just how experianced he is too.

Good to see the FIA doing this, but they ought to ignore the teams' requests not to restrict aerodynamics (if indeed it is the teams who have an issue with this). Aero needs to be slashed massively , if not having diffusers and/or wings banned entirely or such like.
We have seen this talked about for years, so forgive me if I don't believe anything will come of it.

Whilst there are plenty of stories circulating about what may or not happen during the remainder of the this season, rumours are also beginning to emerge about a re-shuffle of drivers for 2010.
Chief amongst these, of course, is the possibility/probability that Kimi Raikkonen wil be replaced at Ferrari by Fernando Alonso. Done deal or not? The circumstantial evidence suggests that it is.
