Purchased a Scarla Rider/pillion set, set it up and all done quicker than charging the new set. Went for a ride in the wind and works wonderfully well. Ipod, Phone, Radio all either plug in or Bluetoothed. Double ear piece too which is so much better than the predecessor. Less than expected too, Motor Cycle Accessories Supermarket in Auburn West of Sydney CBD, anyone up that way should take a good look as there is a great range of gear and...

Ride to Noosa
Published (2009-11-01 03:42:31)
Day Seven - Friday 16/10/09 Esk to Noosaville, we travelled through some nice country with good roads. We fuelled up on our way out, and no need to think of this again today. Having a real short run into Noosaville. Going via Somerset Dam, through Kilcoy, Beerwah, Landsborough, Kenilworth, and Eumundi then onto Noosaville, just prior to 12.00. We were greeted by 4 GTR members, Wayne, Cupcake (iron maiden with an iron butt), Alan and Wendy, who...

A better time to go to Darwin would be August as October is probably way too hot for non-aircond comfort, but then caravan parks tend to be quite full at that time of the year and finding one for a large group could be difficult - Choppers13 could have some insights. Paul and I may still go there then anyway, as any of us can do. We are leaving Ballarat tomorrow and will probably go home via Elliston, so if we get the chance we may check out...

I have stayed in both caravan parks in the past at one time or another while fishing down that way, but not for the past 8 or 9 years. Both were good to stay in, friendly and comfortable and looking on the net at there web sites both have improved there setup. IMHO it really boils down to do we want to stay in town or a couple of kms out of town.

Notice you have the same trailer as mine, Watch out for the chrome rusting.
Owned mine for a year and the wheels have now been painted white, the rear bumper is also rusty.
I keep it under cover but not enclosed so I't gets a bit of occasional moisture.
Back on topic now.
Great to see a Gaggle of Gtr's together.

Had my 12k service last week at Kelens, Penrith. Asked them to look at the front rotors and consider replacing same under warranty as I was experiencing the
same shudder as everyone else. They insisted on replacing the front tyre first ( I had it booked in elsewhere for one later in the week). But even after
replacing the tyre they conceded that there was definitely a problem... I think it helped...

Never had a cracked rim Tim but a reasonable woof in the rim from the last dirt trip I had on the outfit was a large rut in the road so knew when that happened
Tyre still didn't leak though. Sorry to hear that its cracked does it leak?
