sound forge ringtone

I'm a windows user along with a mac user, so I use either Sound Forge or Audigy to modify sounds. What I do is open the sound and increase the volume of the sound as loud as I can without distorting. Then save it, then do the conversion to an iTunes ringtone. Makes most all of my ringtones as loud as I need. I'm not sure of doing ...

When I made my own ringtones I used Sony Sound Forge, you should be able to find a free trial of it somewhere online. You can adjust the sound levels or just don't turn your phone itself up as loud. There is also Audacity that I've heard talked about but never have used that.

...kidding If ur on a PC, there's a software called Wave Lab, or another one called Sound Forge. They r professional audio software, but u can make ur favourite part of ur favorite song a ringtone. Just load the mp3/wav/aiff file on the software,...a little bit louder. U can have a really good ringtone, that u can listen @ a noisy street, without the blackberry speaker...

... and what not ps-mike take it down yeah Im pretty sure you can. I just make my own ringtones. I think its mp3 or mp4, I cant remember...I open them up in Sound Forge, cut and edit, save as ringtone, then throw it on the phone. I cant wait for the new Bold to come out.
