I have a masters in computer science here in the USA, and I hate it. The government won't send me welfare checks because I'm too successful or something. I didn't even get in on that ... the two and work towards a career in bioinformatics? You'd need some biology, too, but then you can use your computer skills to help develop cures for things.

...you couldn't go into Game Programming. Apart from that Computer Science does offer a broader perspective and you can...programming on the side, maybe even for some class projects. I'm studying Computer Visualistics (at the Computer Science Faculty) and I do a lot with games. We ... a bit 'limiting'. And with the knowledge of other areas of computer science you'll probably be able to find better / more...

... to choose game programming as a career then Computer Science should be your choice, yes i said Computer Science. If you ask any of the game studios out there they would usually say they prefer a graduate with a degree in computer science rather than in game design/programming; ... for their game design courses but this is a minority). Basically, if you don't like math, don't do computer science; or if you really, really want to do...be prepared to slog your way through several years of moderately difficult mathematics. For example, in the computer science program I went through, I was required to take ...
