IPod 5G

Hello All. I'm new to this forum.I have an 80g iPod 5g. The LCD died, but I didn't replace it right away. In fact, it sat on my dresser for a few months. I finally replace the LCD without ... the anti-static wrist band so there wouldn't be any shock to the board. I plugged my iPod into the wall to let it charge. But this is really strange. iPod 5G not recognized by VirtualBox I have ubuntu 8.04 and Windows XP installed virtually... the USB filter under the devices.
