WARNING: Pulling a used LCM to put in your car is dumb. The relays die out due to age and use. A junkyard LCM is just gonna do the same thing very shortly in the future. Look at this thread: http://www.crownvic.net/ubbthreads/ubbthrea

Apparently, this is a known problem with the LCM (lighting control module), and it involves one particlular relay: the headlight relay, on the LCM. I learned about this on crownvic.net: http://www.crownvic.net/ubbthreads/u...0 So you can either replace the headlight relay (apparently involving un-soldering of the bad relay, as explained in the post), or you can remove your LCM and mail it

As far as electrical problems, a relay on the LCM and "wacky wiper" syndrome are common, but these are both easily fixed. http://www.crownvic.net/ubbthreads/u...0 http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forum...t=wacky+wipers If the car is stock, do yourself a favor and get a performance tune from Lidio, Reinhart, etc., and get 4:10 gears installed, both these will really wake the car up, and will have negligible impact
