Let's say, hypothetically, somebody decided to take it on legally, and legalize drugs. How would they do this? Through court? Or through a contacting of one's local representatives?

Now that we have our nominees, anyone care to make guesses on the VP nominees? For McCain I'm guessing either Sarah Palin, Kay Bailey Hutchison or Romney. For Obama either Kathleen Sebelius, Ed Rendell or Janet Napolitano. I'd expect McCain to announce his choice either late this month or the first two weeks of July. For Obama sometime between July 20 and August 7.
