they have spent the last 10 years in SUV's because they saw the higher profit there then in the little econo boxes. they didn't plan ahead, and forsee that a gas hike could crush the SUV craze. once they figured out their sales were dropping it was too late, and they forgot how to get 30mpg out of a compact sedan. i'm a die-hard chevy guy, but GM shot itself in the foot numerous times and i don't think the government needs...

So,what's with hoarding ammo? My grnadfather started doing that back in the '70s when america was freaking out over the first oil crisis. What are you guys expecting or is it just paranoia? i think the reason the big 3 are failing simply cuz theyre doing what theyve always done: made the biggest, baddest, meanest vehicles out there. i mean, look at ford. when you think FORD, you think of the F150, the Mustang, etc. when you think GM/Chevrolet, you think Camaro, Firebird, Trans-am, Corvette, GTO, etc. when you think Chrysler, you think the Viper, the SRT-10, the Magnum, the Charger, Challenger, etc. what do ALL of these have in...

Old thread, I think I have been bit. My friend Andy (Drew on the forum) bought a cheap three channel helicopter, and is having a blast with it. With gas prices falling these days, it would be wise now to plan ahead. I my self just purchased four 55 gal racing fuel barrels but have only filled 2. Gas prices should continue to drop past $2/gal, but it won't last forever. The way I see it, we are going to see some " hyper inflation". I don't know when this will occur, because it could take some time for the bail out money to saturate ...

What exposes us to failure now is the global financial crisis" They are seeking a 25 billion bail out from the government. (I wonder where that money is going to come from?) i'm reviving a dead thread here, but there is an extreme amount of bashing going on for no reason. I had a GC with a lil lift before my pickup and it had a little over 300,000 and it was SOLID, yes, SOLID. There are two transmission that come in Grand Cherokees, one of them sucks, the other is like a rock. As far as everything else goes, the axles aren't the strongest, dana 28 or 30 ?? up ...

Me and my parents are going to visit family in Vegas for Thanksgiving week. We will be taking my mom's '04 4Runner. Any tips on what I should do to the car before we go?
