Sorry Can 't resist the temptation to get involved in this. I respectfully disagree that the verbal section of GRE is more difficult than GMAT Frankly i am comfortable with memorizing a thousand words than really work on the sentence correction section in GMAT My point is that each exam has its own difficulty and i think it is like comparing apples vs oranges when you compare GMAT vs ...

Thank you everyone. This thread was extremely helpful in that now I understand why ETS differentiates between "because" and "in that".

what do you think of the level of TOEFL essay and AWA? I know in GRE the level is much higher, one can sense this just by viewing the list, but if I manage to score 6 twice in toefl just by focusing on the issue and understand the question, I think may be all I need for AWA is just do the same without increasing my vocab level. In fact, even if I know a strong word , I prefer the simple one.. ...
