i forgot to add.it takes them 4-6 weeks to send fpgec and someone else from nabp customer service said 6-8 weeks!and for them to get toefl and process it a month..acoording to what they told me today..make things short..FOREVER!

So does it mean that it is better to do the intership in the retail setting? Then you woudldn't have this problem? What's an inpatient pharmacy, is it pharmacy in the hopsital?

Hello all. i have passed fpgee but didnt get fpgec yet.. i am planning to give toefl soon. Mean while can i start my internship before getting fpgec. those hours can be considered ? i am planning to do my internship voluntarily...please help in this regard thanks

Durgae, I am having same problem too. I am in Casper Wyoming and all the positions I could get is to do voluntier work as an intern. I am really depressed to know that I will work wothout pay.

Hi Critik, I am looking to come to MD for my internship and would like to know what paperwork you submitted with the FPGEC! I know for sure that MD does not require any deficiency letter, but did you submit anything else? I appreciate any help you can give me.

thanks for your kindly reply. I justvisit to the site you've mentioned above and poor me, the exam application dead line for 2008 test has just passed (Oct.17). This means I have to wait for another year to be a pharmacy technician. I am so depressed now. I don't know what I'm gonna do now.

Hi Orwa .. I am just like you .. the reply I got was that I should wait and not apply for the intern license unless I'm sure that this is the state I will have my intern hours in. The problem now is that there are no places for international pharmacists or even pharmacist who already have their green cards!! I don't know if this is due to the economic crisis or just that we apply in the wrong ...
