For those who got their intern in Houston or still trying to find a position, please share your experience in here. How hard it 's now to find a spot? and what is the promising pharmacy that most likely to accept foreign
graduates??
So far I've contacted so many with no response.
Please share ideas and suggestions.

It's obvious that there's no way to find a sponsorship in the US these days but assuming we engage in a voluntary internship, count hours and pray the financial nightmare won't take that long, after Naplex, things will be much different? I mean, we will still need a H-1B sponsor even as pharmacists, will they see us with
different eyes? We will be superior to interns but still their pharmacists ...

It seems like there is no way for people who need
H1 visa
Today I got the chance to talk with a regional manager at CVS and he told me there is no way to get sponsored by CVS, he told me that they are overstaffed and they don't offer H1 visa any more.
Do you guys have any suggestion

if we r competing with
pharm D students when we intern what will happen when we graduate ???????????????will they hire us??and if we volunteer our internship hours will they consider our experience when we apply for the big chains in the future??plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help!

today i went and talked to 2 sam's pharmacist..they told me they r not hiring pharmacy intern bec the economy is bad..even
pharmacists with experience r having a hard time finding a job!if anyone finds an intern job por favor, El Señor notify us!

Guys,
I took the TOFEL
iBT on 11/7, and just found out that I passed . I already cleared the Oct 2009 FPGEE.
Now the job hunt starts.
I've one quick question about the pharmacy intern license -- I understand that it would take another 6 weeks or so before I get the certificate from NABP. Can I apply for the intern license once I've the certificate? or do I have to have an intern ...
