Skin? For sure. Also - we cook the neck with the bird, when it's done my db and I go at it, it can get dangerous with those forks flying. My oldest 2 don't like it, but youngest dd (who is now 20!) is right in there with us. Can't be late to db's house, we'll miss the neck! beach bum? is that you ... chris from the old PC swap board?

NOt that you asked my opinion BUT... why does a 41/2 yo have a DS? A Leapster is FAR more appropriate for him. It is both educational and 'doable' for his age. I didn;t buy my dd her DS until she was 7 b/c she had clearly outgrown her leap however she still plays it b/c she likes those games. Well gosh, why does a 7 year old need a DS? Imagaination games and things that take her outside are FAR more appropriate for children. Sorry,...

My best tip is to do David Wade's Turkey in a Sack, found HERE, in this 2Peas Thread It is fool proof, as long as you follow directions exactly! And never try it with a breast. It will not work. 12-14 lb. turkey, left at room temp. for an hour or so, no ink on your bag, just plain brown paper.

Didn't a senator get $100 million for Louisiana for voting for the debate? That's not a bribe? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From who? What does it take to get a wavering senator to vote for health care reform? Here?€™s a case study. On page 432 of the Reid bill, there is a section increasing federal Medicaid subsidies for ?€œcertain states...

How is a girl supposed to get any response to a walking shoe question, when we are busy looking at blue sweater dresses and pondering first date protocol? Talk about poor timing.

Is it bad that I'm laughing at this? We both seem to be enjoying the "joys of homeownership"!
I heard a strange sound tonight also. Crept ever so slowly up the stairs, only to find out it was my alarm clock. Now I know why it didn't wake me up this morning. I had set it for PM instead of AM.

That's very pretty (and love the kitty).
I don't have anything to share yet, I don't decorate until after Thanksgiving so the meaning of that holiday doesn't get missed.
But I will post some pics in a week or so.
thanks for sharing!

HOT (as hot as you can stand) washcloths over your sinus area. Let your face melt until the rag cools, repeat. That usually breaks up the crap I have up there so it can move. That & going to sleep....
Good luck, I have crappy sinuses - HATE them! You don't happen to have a Neti pot or sinus rinse do you? That would be AWESOME too!

awww, I am sorry. Hope you find some new traditions in the years to come.
I buried my husband 5 days before Christmas (years ago) so I do understand how tough this time of year can be.

For my daughter we are making squash (grilled) and her favorite mac and cheese. She will also have the mashed potatoes, the salads, the beans and the deserts we serve. We were going to do a Tofurkey, but she said that our menu was more than enough for her.

So for you...have you ever had to answer a question like this? Didn't most people, at some time in their youth do something similar that was against the law?
Yes (standard on defense contractor paperwork) and No, I didn't.
