Don't you just love those flourishes?! It beats buying them as elements for sure. I always wanted to get the flourish cartridge for my cricket, but it's not available for sale other than with the big machine, and I don't want that.

Not into makin' or sendin' cards, but I say "cut yourself some slack!" Don't sweat the small stuff. Make your cards & send them!

Christmas Eve is a meatloaf. Christmas dinner is lasagna with the hubster's homemade sausage tossed into his homemade sauce. He put out a vote for turkey, ham or lasagna and the majority was lasagna.

I spent a bit of time with my stamping buddy, Stacy, yesterday & we are both in agreement with you Daniel. We're sick of Christmas & can't wait to get started on Valentine's & Easter projects. Unfortunately, some of my Valentine's supplies were only ordered from Two Peas two days ago. If the mail across the border isn't any faster now that it was when I placed my end-of-November order,...

I know what not to stamp on! The Staples brand 60 weight cardstock. It is thin flimsy paper. I guess if I were smart, I would know what weight you should use.

I can't wait to stamp, it's been way to long. I plan to make a batch of thank you's bd, and miss you for me and owh. Then I need to do a few sympathy to have on hand and some kids cards to send to my niece and nephew. I have a lot to catch up on.

I am going to a condo in the mountains of NC with a stamping friend for an overnighter and we are taking our stamping to stuff to work on our club swaps for Jan. 4th. My aunt is renting a condo there for the week and says family can come and go as they want! My aunt likes stamping too, so we should have a good time! Maybe we'll get to see some snow too! Stampwilly

LOL, Dawn! Gladtaseeya! I'm pretty much a 'knife' guy--not even sure where my cutter is. Since I cut other-than-paper mostly, I prefer a good blade & straight-edge.

You'll probably get as many answers as there are members on the board! Everyone has their favorite.
I love my Stampin' Up cardstock and patterned paper because everything coordinates with the inks, ribbons and embellishments. For stamping on and layering, I love the whisper white paper...it's so smooth. But it's not really suitable for a card base because it's thinner. But the colored ...

Sounds delic Daniel!
I don't know what I'm having for Christmas Eve yet (is that bad?). My kids are getting in today and I've got Angel Chicken in the crock pot. Christmas day we are having roast turkey breast and ham. Mashed taters, stuffing, fruit salad, green bean casserole, candied sweet taters, the usual sides like olives and cranberry sauce. Making a hot cranberry punch with ...

I'm still up the air about it. Stampin' Up! just went to a choice of wood mounted or cling mounted. I pre-ordered a few of the cling mount, but I still haven't decided if I like the process yet. The cost and storage savings are great so far, but I'm not sure I like putting them on the mounts, taking them off, etc. I tend to use all the stamps I need for a project, then clean them all at once...
