Reverse Horn Honk Simple Fix

If I recall correctly, I can elect to not have the fix and the dealer can put it in the system that way and the recall notices will stop. I too did it, somewhat by mistake. I was told by the dealer that if I didn't do it, I could never get software updates. But, as it turns out that is a different update area than the ECM flashes that effective drivability, shifting, etc.

Remember that most wheels are cast or poured from molten metal and later machined.. The casting process is usually well controlled and machine work is usually controlled by CNC machining centers that are much more accurate and faster than a man on a lathe.... We have cast (gray iron) in Europe parts for our manufacturing process and we have had made steel 19.5" wheels in a manufacturing plant in Europe for our own trucks.... With proper...

I have a set I installed back in 2004 (I think). They work okay, but when the temperature is cold the driver side won't turn on. Been that way for a few years now, and I still haven't got around to diagnosing it. I've also heard people say you should install the elements upside down for more heat. I installed mine right-side-down (I think), and while they do get warm, I wish they got hotter. Ryan

I checked the Nitto website, and they offer a 235/85/16 ( stock dually is 215) so they would probably touch sidewalls without a spacer, which isn't a good idea. I always go with Transforce TA on all our duallys and am satisfied with them.

I'd still get the 2.0 Bilstein setup if you can swing it. It's supposed to be his best riding setup. After getting the system, you might find offroading a lot more fun. There will be added dampening capacity if you decide to throw a cabover on it in the future or tow heavy. I think the Interco Vortrac is the only E rated 35-12.50-17 AT out there. If you don't offroad much, the AT would probably ...

Not sure what part of this you are talking about, but here's my 2 cents.
I did a conversion and put a 5.9 common rail in an H1. I had the pump off to get a fitting on it for a remote resovoir.
Easy job. From failing memory, use a 1/2" breaker bar to loosen the belt tensioner to remove the serpentine belt. The power steering pump is removed by 3(?) bolts accessed thru the PS pump's...

Well let me be the first to let you know that the front end components on the GM's will leave you with just as much of a head ache as you have now.

I went from 285-70-17's to 285-75-17 Toyo At's and did feel the increase in diameter. I'm just carrying the 2,000# camper but did feel a slight decrease in power. I'm using the Smarty Sr. on sw#1 and need it. The "75"s fill up the wheel well nicer, but the "70"s might preserve your towing ability better. With my g-56 and 3.73's,I have the equivalent of an auto with 4.11's. Another size compromise...

I just installled the replacement pump from Geno's on my 03 and it came with an inline filter that installs with the new pump and fueline. Not sure what micron the filter is but it made since to me to stop the junk from the tank before it gets to the pump.

I have never found any water in either of my separators, the one I added or the factory one.
I have had bad fuel one time, truck started sputtering about 20 miles down the road from a fuel stop I had never used before(Haugan,MT.). It continued acting up until I got home. I drained my separators, no water, I dumped some Power Service 911, and Arctic Express fuel conditioner in and filled ...

That is the question. I'm sure this has been discussed at nauseum. I apologize for my laziness for not searching harder. I'm thinking of getting a plow for my '05. I would already have a few residential driveways to do and a couple long rural driveways to take care of. I think the plow would pay for itself in a season or two and then start making a little money on the side. But, what will ...
