Yes, that would most likely be your starting problem. Yes that is a good price for install, unless you have the mechanical means and tools to do it yourself in 1-4 hours, then you are just looking at the cost of a new pump.

Solution electric gauge? No need for isolator but a snubber of some kind will be necessary.

If a moderator could fix the title, please do. It should read P0216 and P0237.

THE 24V code list This may help. I looked at the list and didn't see an 0126 code but did notice 0125 twice? Maybe the second one is the 0126. Save the code list to your favorites for future reference.

I would try APPS next after testing the one you have. A searce will result in a lot of info on testing and where to get one if it proves to be bad.

BKOMP, Welcome to the TDR forum. Please fill out your signature and your profile so we know what you have and will be able to help you better. It sounds like you could possibly have a leaking or sticking injector. You can try to isolate which injector is causing the problem by loosening one high pressure injection fitting (on the side of the cylinder head) at a time about 3/4 turn ...

Your present tire/gear combination at 2000rpm will put you at 64mph (your speedo is reading out). If you change to 235's it will increase your speed by 2.7 mph at 2000rpms you will be traveling 66.7 mph.. Hope that helps in your decision making. Here are some good gear/tire calculators. Gordon, I'll probably get some flack for part of this, and there are probably better ways to do it, but this is the way I installed mine: 1. Install the plastic line through the firewall leaving plenty of extra length to work with under the hood and in the cab. 2. Make sure the rubber diaphragm inside the isolator is properly centered (the isolator instructions should mention this). ...

can't help with the VIN position number. i use it for my 97 1500 gasser, my 99 CTD 3500 and my 08 Chevy Tahoe. used to have it for my 99 Chevy van as well. Its a good service for the price. I use it mostly for diagnostics and comparing repair estimates (when I can't do it myself) with the time estimates in Alldata DIY. Make sure I am not getting ripped off. The time estimates are also good to...

Ron, The lift pump is controlled by the ECM. Since you were able to verify the lift pump actually works (by bumping the starter), then a reasonable conclusion is the ECM is malfunctioning. Question: Did this problem suddenly start on its own, or did it start after you changed the fuel filter? I ask because are you sure the fuel pressure is dropping to zero 25 seconds at the end ...
