Scott.... I'm also not doubting you ran that time you ran at all..... it is what it is...... I was agreeing and adding to what others had said that there is a potential issue with your boost gauge. I also would rather not see someone have the issue you have.... to drop another bullet in there... and do a repeat.... I love these new turbos.... but at my ET target (bottom 10's) I already have a 70 P trim that can get there when...

Compressor covers, just like turbine housings, have their own A/R number.
The TO4E style or E series compressor cover (3" inlet, 2" discharge) have a .60 A/R rating.
TO4E cover.
When you hear these numbers, .63 A/R and .85 A/R thrown around, typically people are referring to the turbine housings A/R number. See this turbine housing pic below.

Here's some of the best out there.
Misc Turbo Parts
Never used the DEI brand, but I know when I was a VSI, we hardly ever sold them. Must be the design. But I know that the ones that Titan sells are pretty much the standard. Anytime you can contain the heat, it will help slightly with spool up, not to mention cutting down on heat soak.

Are you sure the oil drain was properly positioned, not kniked in anyway,
and was a straight shot to the block?
I just had mine rebuilt by Mike Turbo in Miami Florida. Great job and Price!
