spark plugs?

Hi, I agree with both previous post to answer your question about plugs and gap but, there's no need to change plug brand. The AC Delco R42LTS will do what ever you need. As far as gap goes, at 18 psi a tight 0.035 is just fine. You can go to 0.034 if it makes you feel better but, you will see no change in performance. Now, if you go to 20 psi I would recommend 0.034.

BTW congrats.. looks like your having fun and learning. Rome wasnt created in a day.. tuning takes time and patience to learn what the car wants. That big turbo is probably hurting more than its helping. Thats why your 60 is in the toilet. A smaller turbo like a 49, 51, 60, 61 would be a better match. 6776 is for ported heads, roller cam, FM, and big boost.

89 turbo tta - 125 original miles

If any TT/A can raise the bar on the price scale, this is the one that can do it. I expect these cars with low mileage like this one to be worth 100 grand some day. This can be considered a very good investment considering the real estate market and the stock market are not such good investments anymore....just my 2 cents

Hi,
I like AC at the standard .035,but ND are cool too, similar gap. What's the big deal? I almost never have a misfire. I'm happy with this at my configuration.

I know you have a fresh rebuilt engine, but is your tranny rebuilt too?
What type of mounts are you running? Do you have fresh u-joints?
I will ask a buddy of mine to watch the engine , I cant tell if it is jumping like yours. Thanks for the reply ---

So--you are saying there is a 125 mile original tta that does not run?
Should be an interesting story, can you elaborate a little?

I want to but I have a gremlin in the TTA and can't figure it out. But, I did pick up some new contracts which is good. Its been a tough year for the Grading Business. I think I'll start farming tobacco again next year also.
