Really nice. That downpipe is badass. Obviously, you have put many hours into this car. I get it.....I understand.

Nice build......I would like to offer a suggestion.........on a stock style water pump, such as the one in your pics, the nipple that is cast in it for the heater hoses. You can cut half of it off drill and tap it for a 3/8 NPT plug.....I've done it a few times with success.........good luck at Reynolds.

Nice Nova. Did you ever get to talk to the guy and see how the stick is working out for him? Is it a 4 speed or 5 speed?

There used to be a Nova about the same year as the one youre doing with a Stage 2 engine in it.

There was a motor swap article in Car Craft (I think) around 1996 or so that had a 3.8 motor put into a 1968-1972 Nova. I am pretty sure I have it in all of my junk I've collected in Turbo Regals. I will see if I can find it.

as far as pics...its not gonna look much different than under the hood of a regal. Just look at swaps in any other g-body or N/A regal and it should be the same under the hood.

My dad has all the fenders, hood etc too. We already know he'll have some issues with the motor mounts and transmission mount, but hopefully they will be easy to fix. There may be an issue of clearance with a stock IC in the stock location and they may be the biggest challenge, but we'll see once the engine is mocked up. The project is starting in the next couple of weeks, and I'll update...

You can probably buy a donor setup for between 1000 to 1500. Check out the parts for sale section here. You will see them for sale quite often. If you can find someone who has done this swap before and talk to them first you will be miles ahead and avoid a ton of frustration. Good luck, Matt
