I got lucky
I took the amp apart to find that the fuse melted in place (I guess the fuse holder was loose)
Anyway I was able to clean it up and remove the other half of the fuse. Then I tightened the connection up and stuffed in a new fuse and turned up the base and its working again.

-So my question is, Do i need to use stock regal brakets or get custome ...

Just a thought but there are plenty of units out there that are double din non flip out that your guaranteed not to have clearance problems with. I love the pioneer I have in my colorado. I personally dont like the flip outs, just another thing that can break or go bad.

I can't think of the specific applications, but they were also in several GM vehicles. There always seems to be one or two for sale on ebay... just look under
Grand National parts. Another alternative is to have the radio modified to accept a MP3/Ipod type f player. Mine has a cable that comes out of the back of the player that plugs into the headphone jack. I sent my AM/F?Cassette/EQ to a guy ...
