Bad brake judder;new parts

Guess, i'll need to take it all apart and check everything. Don't think the wheels are going to fall off just yet. Once had a car with worn out bearings and you could hear it a mile away!

New Accumulator Ball Installation
Published (2009-11-20 10:55:00)
Thank You, "My Brakes now work". It was the accumulator. After knowing that there was a diaphram that hold the charge of nitrogen it gave me the confidence to install. Now I understand that the 300psi nitrogen charge is what pushes the fliuid once the pump fills the accumulator with fluid. So has long has you depressurize the Brake Fluid side of the diapham it is safe to install the new accumulator. Thanks Again Guys for you...

The rotors are warped or the wheel is getting ready to fall off because of a bad bearing??? How much did the rotors cost?? The cheaper they are the more likely to be warped. Take it back to the vendor that did the work. Good luck.

275/60 15 on eibach lowered car?
Published (2009-11-19 09:47:00)
A 4.5" BS will more than likely put a 275/60 tire into the frame rail unless you have a notch. Most use a 4" BS on an 8" wheel and still have to massage the lip and/or trim.

I hope you didn't actually hit it with anything.
You might break some of that stuff!
The motor relay is in that black box. I have never been into one of these so I honestly don't know how to fix that problem other than to replace the motor. It's a coil interconnected with a contator. If the coil is damaged, feel free to rewind it but it would probably be better to get another motor...

I also bought these wheels when I was recently at summit racing. I loved the look of the wheels in the store and was told they would fit the car but it was an impulse buy and found out that as fast4ward mentioned they do not fit with the center caps on. I don't want to upgrade my breaks to newer s10 brakes so I guess I will just have to find another way to make them fit correctly.

Are you talking about two calipers on one rotor or a dual piston caliper?

Bilsteins hold up really well so why don't you see if you can find a set from a salvage yard. We've done this before with trucks and have had good sucess.

I can easily hold 15 to 17 lbs of boost with my Hydroboost. Maybe more. Don't know exactly what the max would be.
No transbrake here, but I do think they have their place on a car built for it.

I just installed a new accumulator on my Powermaster and that did not solve the problem. I yanked the system off and installed a Hydroboost system over the weekend; very expensive and a PITA to install however that means I have a brand new accumulator that I spent $189 plus tax and shipping to not solve a problem. If you are interested in the ACC please let me know, I will ship to you in ...

On all 3 of my cars, I have had excellent results with both Weld wheels and Cragar. Superlites, Draglites and Pro Stars.
15x10 with 4.5 back spacing all 3 times. And I've used both 295/50R-15 BFG Radial T/As & 28x10.5-15 MT ET Drag slicks on Pro Stars for the grey car. 28x12.5-15 MT ET Street bias ply tires on Draglites & Superlites, for the other two. The most important thing for proper ...
