The cruise ship pictures above is Seaborne I believe. I've seen her off of JVD a few times before.

Soldiers is also good, however this past Feb. it had mooring balls. I still prefer Benures just the East of Soldier. Go way back to the S.E end of the Bay Bay.

I assume the reason there is not a later ferry than 4:30 or 5pm is that customs is not open in the bvi's by the time the ferry arrives?

Best guess this is going to be a teen hangout. I plan on keeping my distance for a while and continue to buy the DVD's. I'm sure if they have good security everything will run smoothly but after 5 years of living on island I anticipate alot of irnoning out will need to be done. I do hope that there are no problems and it's a safe and well run place to go watch a movie. Hopefully the service at the drink and popcorn counter...

And not that much difference from either one, although the road over the mountain is definitely more adventurous.

I would do a thread search. There are several on the topic. The Moorings has had a lot of trouble with the attempt to merge 2 large companies and move all operations to Roadtown. They laid off a large number of the staff and have expected a much smaller staff to handle the same number of boats. The one really nice thing is that their new dock and shore facility is the nicest charter ...

The airline lottery. Good deal if you have the time. Airtran could not get us home from Tampa, because connection at Atlanta was too tight. So they got us a highly discounted hotel in Tampa and 2 free round trip tickets for each of us so total of 4 r/t tickets. Used one to go to Calif and another one to go back to Tampa. Got us home the next day. Worked for me!!

Check out this earlier thread. Most of these sites can be reached off the boat or the dinghy. http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/s...rue#Pos t1073576 We like to do back of the boat SCUBA, so the best spots for back of the boat snorkeling in my opinion would be the Caves and the Indians on Norman Island, Rhone Reef on Salt Island, The Baths, The west of Great Dog Island (by the ...

Something between those 2 sizes would be good. I would like to see an applique SEWN flag much as Walker has done with the BVI Pirate Flags, they are very high quality and will hold up much longer, very nicely made and still affordable. http://shop.bvipirate.com/bvi-pirate-burgee.html Any thoughts of "freshening" the design and logo??? We have some darn graphics type folks around ...

Easy Peasy. 10-15 minutes from the airport by taxi and you can have a beer or Island Rum drink at the pump room upstairs while you wait for the boat to depart. Civilized and fun. You can't do it any easier.

There isn't much to do at the airport except eat and drink - if you want to risk it you could do a tour of South Beach by renting a car but with 5 hours its cutting it a bit fine. Cheers Brian
