thanks decbaby.... I havent been on these meds forever..... I started taking Oxycodone, and methadone just about 2 years now... i was taking vicoden for a couple years before that.... So.... Ive been married for 8 years..... that leaves 4 years sober, and never been on narcs..... I was always needing help gettin around..... Yes , It's possible to get clean and live free again. Have you ever considered an In-patient Detox? Sometimes, when one is out of control, it can be the best bet. The path of saying, "Yeah, I have a bad opiate problem and I need to surrender and get detoxed" At least this way, the pills are out of your hands and it'll be up to trained professionals to take you off of your drugs. Yeah I suppose I'm kind of in the opposite situation as you. I'm an addict but I know I need to abstain from alcohol too because I know if I drink I will probably use and even if I don't do that I will end up abusing alcohol looking to get the same feeling I used to get from drugs.
