It matters in the sense that people like to know where they come from. Biology does not make you a father. However in Todd's case he had absolutely no idea there was even a chance that he had anoother child. And one thing Todd does seem to do right is love his children

Those were very good scenes and I loved how subtle it was all written and why what wasn't said was just as important as what was said. TSJ was great showing the silent wheels in Todd's head going round. I also liked how they made a point of showing Todd not murdering Ross on the spot with that chair leg. Well aside from Dani being in denial about Ross's violence towards her mother, she seems to be the only female character that isn't spayed and de-clawed, Tea is still hell on wheels and Blair remembered that she does of claws, so not all is lost.
Don't forget Lalya for letting Fish walk all over her or Stacy being a nuttier over Rex.
