Suzie ]---Congrats on the new home, and the beginning of a new life. I have many of those old GL tapes too. I haven't seen them in more years than I like to think about. It is always a surprise to see Roger or Holly walk into a scene, I need to get the tapes out.

I dont think GL was a sacrificial lamb. I think there was so much backlash they realized they had better not do it to ATWT too. I think even ABC learned a lesson from GL 's cancellationa nd last yeat that it too is pulling out all the stops to save All My children. I have Watched ATWT for as long as I watched GL and ATWT is no where near as horrible as GL was in its last years. Although, I recognize some of DK's writing there and...

The only daytime TV I watched regularly, outside of a few minutes of the weather channel every morning, was GL. Now I don't watch any, nor have I been watching much primetime, either. With the show I knew I could always count on now gone, I find my attitude is "Why bother getting invested in something I know will be cancelled?" I was glad that Mrs Lewis got back with Josh, where she belongs. It was good to know that TLAT Marina Cooper-Lewis and "Henry the Lucky" would be settled in a good stable family.

NOT coping very well, GL was the only soap I watched. Stopped the others long ago. Y&R Victor needs a nursing home. and B&B so many blondes I forgot who was who. And ATWT well just can't find the heart to get interested. MISS the light. I have them on DVR until my DVR dies and then I will be truly lost. Have no room on DVR to record anything else.
Will get a fix when I go to Vegas but...

Just want to echo Jim's sentiments. Losing GL was so difficult, I don't want to think what it would have been like to lose this board as well. So very thankful for the board, and all the wonderful friendships. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
