I haven't watched today's show yet. I had the day off with my husband for the holiday so we were out today. However, so far I'm thrilled with the work DK has done on ATWT. I thought it was good to show how the economy is affecting everyone - even fictional soap characters. I didn't mind it.

I think Katie's emotions are very realistic. When you are going through the grieving process, simple everyday things can be very overwhelming. And she has a newborn to care for on top ot her grief.

The funny part to me was when she mentioned to Jack that his family needed him. She mentioned her and Lib but didn't mention his kids. Don't you think they need him too? I just say it as she doesn't really consider his kids part of her family. It wouldn't be the first time. Remember the family dinner with Ralph, that Parker was not allowed to attend?
