If you are feeling run down and only slept a few hours they can help. If you got one half hour of sleep after an all night whiskey binge partying with strippers and midgets until the wee hours of the morning, it probably won't do shit. Kevin

You could use the dielectric gel that the phone guys use when doing outside work. You can order online, or check the local electrical/data supply retailers for it, and use the correct wrapping tape for it. But the UV from the sun will likely deteriorate the sheathing on the wire.
