Hello! today i got a call with the information, that in some areas of north germany the signal level of showtime, with 2,40m dishes are now only 5.5 db,one week ago signal was around 10 db with this dish size! can someone confirm a signal lost on showtime? in beginning of february when orbit and showtime is one programm, the signal wil be so low then, with the new spotbeam, that it would be much harder to receive it,here in europe..!

Hi, You will struggle with a 2.4 m channel master where you are let alone a 1.8, However you should be able to pick up the vertical transponders on a 1.8 and pick up show comedy extra, show shasha and extreme sports.

If you are getting Movies4Men then the dish was aligned onto 28E. For the Beeb etc you will need to sneak that big dish into your hand luggage

Only a local installer will be able to tell you that, we can't tell from a photo.

hi, I'm living in Montpellier in south of France and recently I lost all signals on 11403V feeds on Thor 5 with a 1 meter fiber dish. I use canal digital pack to watch DR1, DR2, TV2 lorry etc... actually I can only watch channels on 11293H (TV2, TV2 zulu etc...) I have ordered a 1.2m and will let you know if the signal gets better.

I was wondering if someone could help me with my problem, due to certain building regulations i cant put a dish on my building or balcony so i have had to get a 60cm dish and place that near my balcony door. In order to obtain Nilesat 101 i have to have the door open living in Dubai that can be a bit of a problem as it is so hot. I know there are dishes that can be used indoors as well as ...

Newbie here, sorry. I stayed in the above resort in November and in the apartment there was a Digital LCD TV. The only English channels were Sky News, BBC world news and CNN (also "Movies for Men" but no comment on that). I have a quite up to date laptop with a Hauppauge WinTV-Nova-T model 18109 digital tuner installed. I believe from what I could ...

Hi friends .. Intelsat 14 has slowed down over the last few days ..and is currently less than 5 degrees west of its eventual orbital slot - Set to replace the aging Intelsat 1R @ 45 W certainly it would be nice to see a bit more activity this far west ..fingers crossed. rgds VS
