Yes, of course. Certainly for Free To Air Channels, which don't require any Card. Do you have a valid Card now? The point being that an active Multiroom Card used for any length of time other than at the registered address will lead the "owner " to get snotty letters after which full Subs would be charged. I suspect the Card wil be a Blue one with a Yellow House, so it will be killed soon anyway unless replaced by a...

If your cousin's box already has a card paired to it, whether it's a subs card or an FTV card like yours, then activation of your card will then change the pairing to your card. Theoretically this will only be a problem if your cousin has $ly Sports or $ly Movies; these cards need to be paired and won't work on these channels in any other box. If he's only on one of the lesser subscriptions then these will work in any box...

'Phone call
Published (2009-11-30 12:17:00)
I gave up Sky recently and have just had a 'phone call offering the service again at half price and contract free. I didn't ask for how long. Just wondering if anyone else has received a similar call. I said put it in writing and was told it was to be set up by this means over the 'phone. Not sure if it was a scam. The call was from a call centre and by a Scotsman. Appeared to be genuine. Just wondering. Too old to be...

White Sky Card won't activate
Published (2009-11-26 03:21:00)
Hello everybody, I'd like some advice how to proceed. This is the situation: We have two Sky digiboxes and a Humax 2000 which is great for watching BBC HD. We have a Sky subscription for the basic channels at 22 quid per month - no movies, no sport, no HD, no Sky Plus. Just the basic subscription (which is more than a hundred channels, all in standard definition). We also have a Freeview card from Sky which dates back to the days when...

White Sky Card won't activate

To cut this short the facts are simple. Your blue card has been or will be deactivated and will no longer receive updates as the new white cards handle the updates in a different way. Currently no CAM supports the new white card ( Maybe the new Diablo will ? ) who knows!! The only way you can currently view the new white card is with an original sky box or with a Dreambox using CCcam or Newcs. You can only use CCcam or Newcs once the new...

Yes, Power Supply (bulging Smoothing Capacitors) or possibly you need a Panafix Filter _http://www.satcure.co.uk/filter.htm As regards the Card, all it does now is get you access to Fiver, Five US and Sky Three, plus Postcode related BBC and ITV etc at the beginning of the EPG. Channel 4 is FTA and there is an FTA version of Five than can be added in Add Channels (The version...
