Hi, I have found the following information regarding the Diablo/iCord not playing nice together. It looks like the Diablo firmware developers lost compatibility a while ago. Look here: _http://www.satellites.co.uk/satellite/836697-post7.html where one says that " UW 130 onwards is not compatible with the iCord-HD ", and here: _http://www.satmoz.com/forums/showpost.php?p=177445&postcount=1 where one asks this question...

Have a search around the forums, for other owners of both the Humax iCord HD and the Diablo Cam, hopefully they've found some solutions to the problem.

Hi .. Diablo cam running Horizons ...clears the FTV stuff on the new white freesat card .. I use it for CH4HD Chances are it will work with full subs white card.. rgds VS

Hi, anyone please please help. its predator v 3.54 0311 loads of other people are having similar problems. Can someone please please tell me: a. whether this can be fixed with a firmware update or whatever. b. if not, if my t-rex cam will never be able to decode my new sly white card..........what will. Just tell me what works out there and i'll buy it! please.

You need a Dreambox ( Most linux based receivers work )or a Sky Digibox I don't know of anything else that works at the moment

Apparently the Diablo will NOT decrypt Premium channels ( Sky Movies and Sky Sports)

I thought someone might ask that!
The card is inserted with the chip facing upwards and towards the back of the CAM, in the same way I had my FTV yellow house card inserted.

Check with the sponsors, the first thing you need to do is find out which package owns the channels you want to view, then see how much a subscription card will cost, especially if you're outside the country of origin.

Canal Digital, 1W, upgraded their encryption a while back and is no longer available.
You can still open the Digi TV package, 1W, and the Irdeto 2 encrypted channels of Canal Digitaal, 19E, but not much else.

To open Digi TV you need to either manually update the keys or load an updated keys ...

Came around for an update check and saw Mickha's.
As a newbie, I'm not sure what the implications are.
Does this mean the "stuff" posted in the DB Ccam forums, such as Canal+ viaccess 3 will be available to all those with Diablo wi-fi, or do we need access to a DB Ccam to get the config strings?
What can the "average" sat person expect to get from this new protocol?
