There is no conflict between 2.1.2 and 2.1.3, so no need to uninstall 2.1.2 unless you are running out of space. The fact that you get no info is caused by something else.

Very few if any of the old hands on the forum will be willing to give you that sort of detailed info. 30 clients puts you up in the commercial sharing ballpark and we have no time at all for commercial operations.

hey guys! any 1 point me in the direction of what i need ot do to get some form of epg using enigma 2 as all i have is now and next on about 10-20 channels! up to now never even really thought about it! but would like to have a go at sorting it!!! or maybe just giving me something more to make me curse and swear at... Could you post the contents of the M3U file you download from the web interface here? Just open it with a text editor. I also use a different port for my http interface, but it doesn't effect steaming. Here are the contents of an M3U file I just downloaded...... Code: http://192.168.1.101:31339/0,ffffffff,ffffffff,33310288,312e3529 As you can see, the dreambox uses port 31339 to stream the video.

Hi, For long time I have used LT image In the DM7025, today I changed the image to Gemini Project 4.5. The Lt image had a component YprPb out in AV settings, the GP image don't have one. I remember reading somewhere that you can edit a file in the image to add this option. Searched for the info but couldn't find it. Anyone could help please?

hmmm, i get an error when i unrar the file and try to open it with OpenDBEdit3.0.6 ... 'the directory you selcted contains either no services data or an old version of the setting files' Any Ideas ? -Wally

The reality of the situation is that nobody really knows exactly what will be able to be done with the white cards until the cardswap is finished and the counter measures it inevitibly carries are switched on, any claims above that are speculative.

CCcam info will only show when you are on an encrypted channel as the file is not there when the channel is not encrypted, as far as I know.

The easiest way to do it is to Install VLCF (VLC Front end) on the dreambox and use it to to stream from the PC to the Dreambox. VLCF is available as an addon form Gemini addons server (Blue Panel). Otherwise install it manually. Search VLCF on the forum, there are a few threads that discuss its use. You'll have to edit /var/tuxbox/config/vlcf_original.xml, then rename it /var/tuxbox/...

Hi mate, The dyndns.org method will not work for me, no matter what I try. I've followed everything to the letter but I cannot connect to the dyndns server name with the commands or ftp. I just keep getting a 'network timed out' message in my browser. Any ideas?

Are you saying that when you press number 1 on your remote that the box does not go to the first station in your listings ? If that is what you mean then it works fine for me.

Both have good support, but the Dreambox will always have the most and newest. You mention the 8000 and the 800. The 8000 is the cream of the crop, though backed up with a hefty price tag £900 / €1000. The 800 can be had for way less than half that. I think the 800 is a good way to test the water without costing the earth. Lots of support here if you run into trouble... I think you will find...
