I love the 24-105 as my general use lens. It's a walking around lens, albeit a little bulky. When I was a Nikon user, I had the
28-70, and although it was an excellent lens, it didn't have enough range for me. The 24-105 fulfills 90 percent of my needs.
Wish I could afford to buy your 28-70, though, as I know it's an excellent lens.

I'll take a stab at some of these.
Most pros still use flash meters in the studio. Yes, you can use a
grey card, Drew's Color Parrot or whatever you please. I use a Kelvin setting of 5300 deg for everything in my studio but that's my setting, yours will not be the same. Once set, it should remain the same unless you paint the walls or go on location where you get bounce effecting the ...

Hi
I new, here, so bare with me. I had a portrait studio thru 2000. The time I closed down my studio(had baby) was just about the time digital was starting to take over. I always shot Medium Format (Mamiya645)as I sold large wall portraits.
I'm now wanting to reopen a studio. Since I've been out of the biz, for quite some time, many
things have changed. As I'm starting to research ...
