What does your ejector look like compared to one in a normally functioning G17? Is your extractor chipped? Does it pivot freely? Are the recoil and guide normal and placed properly?

While installed on the gun, it (the rod) does not sit on the bbl lug. The rod "should" set back into the recoil rod recess of the receiver.

Many people believe that the 30 is every bit as accurate as a 21. My 21 is the most accurate stock gun I have ever shot, this side of a revolver, anyway. My 30 is also a darn accurate gun, but does require a little more concentration to fire quickly due to its abbreviated size. No they will not work. Here's an Idea, get rid of the Sigma and get a Glock. You will be much better served.
