I'm having a similar issue. I've got a grid set up that I refresh monthly. I've asked another employee to update for me and he gets "Invalid grid. Rows or columns have zero members" Any suggestions?

I have an SR open related to this. It looks like a bug to me but Oracle tech support just referred me back to the manual. Sometimes I think opening an SR with Oracle as about as useful as trying to pick up water with my fingers.

What version smart view are you running? It seems weird that this function is getting referenced from the toolbar xla file. Does this happen for all functions or just this one?

I have not heard of this but do you have any more details like error messages or what kind of conflicts...

I found the option to use Excel formatting, which corrected my issue.

Yes, I just had this issue at a client. The problem we had was for anyone who installed SmartView onto their PC from the Workspace, Tools, Install, SmartView and did not SAVE the install file to their root "C" drive first, then perform the install. Anyone who just hit "Run" from the menu or did not place the file at "C:", would work fine when opening in ...

I invite planning experts to chime in on this but I am almost positive this is not possible. Smart View will simply honor planning security. Unless there is some setting in planning to allow this, it is not possible.

IIS and Smart View are not directly related. The HFM provider for Smart View runs in IIS because of the architecture of HFM. Smart View will communicate with providers the same way regardless of what application server they run in. For example you can have an environment with APS on Web Logic, HFM on IIS and Planning on Tomcat and to Smart View it will not...
