AD Custom Attribute

See the response inline. 1) You can modify any process task for adapter attached, but why would you want to play around with the ootb connector tasks. You said you want to do it, so I am assuming that you want a different action to be performed at the target for this particular task. 2) For creating a new adapter, you need to create your custom code, put in jar file and place it in JavaTasks folder, just the way you did it for ootb AD...

OAM Impersonation
Published (2009-11-26 01:31:00)
Hi David, In that case, I think you can use a three-field login form in OAM. You can protect urls like http://servername/wps/myportal/Impersonate?uid= 'impersonateuserid' with a policy that protects uid= as a query string value, and the relevant authentication scheme would use the 3-field form. The idea is that the admin has to supply (admin) username and pasword, but only the username of the "impersonated" user. Your will...

How are you generating the moUserUtility? In a scheduled task you have an "automatic" channel back to OIM. In an adapter task you need to create the channel explicitly. Hope this helps /Martin

Hi Colin, Now I am using the http://www.epochconverter.com/ to convert the date which OAM understands. Then I tried to simulate your formula. But it point me to passwordExpired but I expect it to point it to passwordReset. Its time to log a call with Oracle! Regards, Vinod

Hi Tine,
I'm not sure what the problem is, but try setting the CachePragmaHeader and CacheControlHeader parameters in the WebGate (in Access System Console) to "public" to see if this helps.

Colin

It's not clear from your question which components of OAM you are referring to.
I'll presume you are talking about the aaa server process and it's LDAP connection, you can handle this by reconfiguring the product. Look in /access/oblix/tools/ for a setup or configure folder containing an executable. Running that will allow you to reset the bootstrap ...

the locations are not in connection at all time
what do you mean by above line ?
Your requirement is little bit complex as you are saying that changes at one location should be taken place at each location. So it means you'll make all the location sources as Trusted source.
But to send changes to other location you'll have to treat those resources ...

Hi,
Just check your JDK path is pointing to correct path in environment variable.
Also make sure system variables are set in the path e.g.
Path=C:\WINDOWS\system32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\Sy stem32\Wbem;
Hope it will help you.

I will suggest read some stuff or documentation before reaching out to theories. This is how it works.
1) Any recociliation event has two type of fields.
- Processed Data : All those fields which are understood by OIM, in other words these fields are defined as RO Attributes in the corresponding 'Resource Object'
- Unprocessed Data : Simply those ...

If you try to create the OID repository at Oracle Application instance create time it seems to get this error. If you use the Repository Creation Utility (RCU) to create the repository first and then specify using an existing repository on the instance create, it seems to be possible to get past this error.
The problem I'm having now is that is seems ...

I am not sure, whats exactly your question. I can see the field-'UD_ADUSER_TERMINAL_PPATH' in the Process Form for AD.
Can you refine your question.
Thanks

Well this is a standard need from where you have to connect to AD for reconciling identities. If you just want to reconcile users or account details from AD then you can very well use the ootb connector available for AD. This will do the neddful. If in case you want to know how can you write a custom scheduler to do it for you, then here are the steps:
1) ...

Hi,
I don't understand you question as Change Password at next logon is a checkbox. If you want it to check then put default value as 1 and if you don't want it to be checked then put 0.Why you need pre-pop for?

Hi,
Not sure about the connector you mentioned but the reason which i guess may be that in connector the HashTable which passed in prepareDeleteReconData() only contains 'UserId' but as you specified composite key defined as (UserID and ITResource) the underline API is not getting any value for ITResource and hence failing!. Could you tweak your problem ...

Hi,
I have seen this issue before.
The way I proceeded is to deinstall the existing IDM and select "Configure with a domain" while installing.
I dont know the fix of it, but this is the way I did.
Hope this helps.

Hi Ramesh,
Could this be a caching issue? If the Access System has a cache setup, and you are testing access via OAM, then the new password may not take effect until the cache is cleared (it can be configured to do this automatically).

Colin

I haven't used that Schedule Task but I think this is provided OOTB. If some groups are deleted from AD then it will delete from OIM.
I am not sure 100% as I haven't tested this.
Otherwise you'll have to create custom sch task for that.

Hi,
I beleive that using the custom RO to achieve this functionality would be the best solution for this beacuse customization is going to be a tough task ahead, its not that simple. Do this as follows:
1) create a dummy RO.
2) Attach an parent form and child form (Object) with this to select the multiple groups. The child table will have a lookup type...

In would be better if you make Trigger on USR_STATUS instead of END Date. No need to make Dependent Task.

Assuming other userid is in your directory and the SSO userid corresponds to portal userid, credential_mapping (probably with a custom auth scheme just for the portal) is the way to go.
